Monthi Feast Celebration in Thirlapalke ward

The faithful of Thirlapalke Ward joyfully celebrated the Monthi Feast – Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the residence of Mrs. Anita Alva on 20th September Sunday. The celebration was held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in an atmosphere of faith, devotion, gratitude, and Christian fellowship.

The celebration included a beautiful Vadya Zamat and the traditional flower showering near the grotto, offering flowers with love and devotion to Infant Mary. The faithful gathered in prayer, seeking the maternal blessings and protection of Mother Mary upon their families and the entire ward community.

Around 50 faithful participated in the celebration. As part of the cherished Monthi Feast tradition, new corn was prepared with payasam and lovingly served to all those present. Snacks were also served, adding to the joyful fellowship.

The celebration concluded with grateful hearts, as the faithful thanked God for His abundant blessings and sought the continued intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was a simple yet beautiful celebration that strengthened faith, unity, and the spirit of togetherness among the members of Thirlapalke Ward.
