Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) Meeting & Training

A Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) Meeting and Training Programme was held on Sunday, 13th September 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at the Parish Hall of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle.

The programme was enriched by the presence and inspiring message of Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen D'Souza, Director and Preacher, Diocese of Udupi. The gathering commenced with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen D'Souza, invoking God's blessings upon all the participants and the BEC ministry.

Present on the occasion were Rev. Fr. George Thomas D'Souza, Parish Priest; Rev. Fr. Stephan Rodrigues, Assistant Parish Priest; Dn Shawn Andrade; Mr. Pritesh D'Sa, Vice President; Mrs. Jyothi D'Souza, Secretary; Mrs. Monica D'Souza, Coordinator of 20 Commissions; and Mrs. Ancilla D'Souza, BEC Coordinator.

Mrs. Ancilla D'Souza warmly welcomed the priests, dignitaries and all the members gathered for the meeting and training programme.

The session provided a valuable opportunity for the members to come together in prayer, fellowship, formation and planning, with a renewed commitment to strengthening the BECs and building a more united and faith-filled parish community.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Benedita Fernandes. Refreshments were served to all the participants, bringing the meaningful and fruitful gathering to a joyful conclusion.
